  • We are a fully equipped, mobile bar setup and service that brings beverages directly to your event. Blue Sky Taps provides stylish, self-contained four-tap trailer that can serve beer, wine, customized cocktails, mocktails, cold brew, and other beverages at for private events and celebrations in the greater Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas — weddings and rehearsal dinners, graduations, fundraisers, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, engagements, reunions, block parties, tailgates, community and corporate events, or that backyard get together for you and your friends.

  • Yes. Blue Sky Taps provides both —Mobile tap trailer rental and professional (TIPS Certified) bartending services. For liability purposes, we are required to serve.

    We handle the setup, service, and breakdown so your event runs smoothly and you focus on having a great time.

  • Our mobile tap system can serve a wide variety of drinks, including:

    • Beer

    • Wine

    • Cocktails (Customizable)

    • Mocktails (Customizaable)

    • Non-alcoholic beverages

    • Cold brew

    • Teas and lemonade

    Clients typically provide the beverages, and we provide the trailer and tap system.

  • No. Due to Ohio state law, Blue Sky Taps does not purchase, sell, or supply alcohol. Instead, we operate as a “dry pour” mobile bar service.

    A dry pour means the client purchases all alcohol and beverages for the event, and Blue Sky Taps provides the tap trailer, equipment, setup, and professional bartending service to serve those beverages.

    For example, under our Happy Camper package ($1,000 service), a client might choose:

    • 2 kegs of beer at approximately $75 each

    • A vodka-based cocktail

    If the client wants a vodka cocktail, they would purchase vodka separately (for example, an average-priced liter of vodka per store pricing). A typical batch might use around 4 liters of vodka to produce approximately 5 gallons of mixed cocktail, combined with a customized mixer of juices or other ingredients.

    We then handle the setup, chilling, dispensing through the tap system, and service throughout your event.

  • Blue Sky Taps isn’t a traditional mobile bar — we don’t sell alcohol, we elevate the experience. Because of Ohio regulations, we operate as a dry-pour mobile tap experience, meaning our clients supply the beer, wine, cocktails, or non-alcoholic beverages, and we provide the beautifully designed four-tap trailer, professional setup, and seamless service experience.

    This model gives you flexibility and control over what you serve while still delivering a polished, elevated experience that feels curated, not commercial. Whether it’s craft beer, or signature cocktails, we turn your beverage choices into a fully branded, interactive experience.

  • We serve Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas within roughly a 100-mile radius, depending on the event type and logistics. This includes much of central Ohio. If your event is within 50 miles, we do not charge; beyond 50 miles please see our Packages page for details.

  • Pricing depends on event size (guest count) and duration, location and staffing needs, and any of our flexible additions that you select.

    While we have our two packages, we offer customized items for you event to ensure you get exactly what you need.

    After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.

  • Yes. Blue Sky Taps can be set up at:

    • Private residences

    • Wedding venues

    • Outdoor spaces

    • Event halls

    • Corporate properties

    As long as the space is accessible for setup and there are no restrictions, we can usually accommodate any location.

  • Our mobile tap trailer requires a setup space of approximately:

    • 12 feet long (from trailer coupler to rear)

    • 6 feet wide

    • 6 feet 5 inches tall

    As long as the event location has a relatively flat, accessible space within those dimensions, we can typically set up without issue. We are flexible with placement and will work with your venue or property layout to find the best fit.
